We prefer to help those who are underrepresented have their voice heard in this journal! We focus mostly on the disabled (whether through mental illness or elsewise) and the LGBTQAAI+ Community. 

We like weird. We like the raw. The soul-bearing. The honest to God truth. We like the mildly embarrassing. The don't put salt on that cause the wound is still open. We like the age old grief poured on the page.

We dig what we can't define and what we can't escape. Submitted us your darkest, your realest, your truest depression. Send us grief you can't give to anyone else because the world deserves to know--give us that ache you cannot satisfy and we will tuck it away in a page you may read only when you wish too. 

Also make sure your work is polished. Formal is okay--but formal made disguised as free verse is even better. Work your craft and make it work for you.
